Have you ever booked a cruise with a Mexican!?

I thought it would be polite if I was to introduce myself to all fellow cruisers.
Mexico City on a clear day!
As the section “ABOUT ME” mentions, I was born in Mexico City.  If you see my picture I do not look like a classic stereotypical Mexican, nor do I have a Mexican first name, but that would be my British background hard at work.

I lived in Texas where I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio.  There I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology, specialised in Pre-Colombian Mesoamerica with an emphasis on the Mayan civilisation.
I then moved to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico where I founded an eco-tourism agency.  While in Yucatan, I made it my personal challenge to attempt in discovering and explore every known and unknown Mayan site.  But, as some might know, there are hundreds of archaeological sites, some reasonably accessible, some…  well, very off the beaten track.
While travelling and working in Mexico I met my beautiful and now wife Kate.  As it was love at first sight, I decided to follow her to the UK in 2005.  We now have a young son called Diego and we are expecting a second baby in February 2011.
My wife and I took our first Caribbean cruise in 2006 with Royal Caribbean on the Rhapsody of the Seas.  Like with all cruises, it was an incredible experience.  We now cannot wait to set sail again!
